A special thanks to Mr. George Poveromo, a “nationally recognized sport fishing authority” for promoting fishing on the Neuse and Trent Rivers. He recently wrote an article for ESPN and Saltwater Sportsman Magazine referring to New Bern’s 300th Anniversary celebration and the fantastic fishing opportunities in the Neuse and Trent Rivers.
