Kyle – New Leash on Life Graduate

It would be wonderful to hear another success story about Craven Correctional Institution’s “New Leash on Life Program” (NLOL).

Now that Toby has found his calling as a service dog at The Boathouse of New Bern, his fellow graduate, Kyle is in need of a new home!

Kyle is sweet, loving and eager to please. He’s very low key and submissive. Kyle’s been neutered, is up to date on his shots, and has been trained for eight weeks in basic obedience.

The one thing that he’s missing is a loving owner. Please contact Beaufort County Animal Control if you are interested in adopting this wonderful boy!

As with every NLOL graduation, four more dogs are introduced to their trainers and begin the eight week basic obedience course.

Two of the new dogs, are Garbo and Gavin (aka Timex). Garbo is a little lady that loves to love. She is a tiny white chihuahua mix that will be a great lap dog.

Garbo

Gavin is a black terrier mix that is full of energy. He needs to settle down a bit. Prison training will do him a lot of good. You can see them at http://www.cpasc.petfinder.com/ – NLOL Gavin and NLOL Garbo.
