Ripley’s Believe It Or Not located in Orlando, Florida too have submitted a Ripley’s Certificate to Tommy Moore of Moore’s Ole Tyme Barbeque in New Bern, North Carolina for making a Barbecue Sandwich that weighed 1,337 lbs. Ripley’s is interested in the Unique and Unusual feats that take place around the world.
Two unique items that attracted Ripley’s are the weight and number of people (Over 2,000) that ate The World’s Largest Open Sandwich-Barbecue Bun. Tommy received the certificate on January 12, 2011.
A video of the Guinness World Records Event that was Moore’s Ole Tyme Barbeque Restaurant contribution to the 300th Anniversary of New Bern will be submitted to the Orlando Ripley’s Believe It Or Not Museum.
