>Support the Colonial Capital Humane Society – Upcoming Events!

>March 12: CCHS Adopt-a-thon, 11am-2pm, Petsense (next to Harris Teeter). Because Colonial Capital Humane Society does not have a physical office for prospective adoptive families to visit, adopt-a-thons are one way to introduce people to our beautiful dogs and cats. Applications can be filled out on site or in advance online at www.colonialcapital.org. Adoptions do not take place the same day an application is submitted, and all applications are carefully screened. However, your application can list the pet of your choice.

March 26: CCHS Open House, 11am-2pm, 1860 Old Airport Road. CCHS cats have just gotten an outdoor enclosure, allowing them fresh air for the first time. The public is invited to come see this wonderful addition, visit our cats, and see if one is the right fit for your family. All CCHS cats are current on their shots and have been neutered. Applications can be filled out on site or online at www.colonialcapital.org. Adoptions do not take place the same day an application is submitted, and all applications are carefully screened. However, your application can list the pet of your choice.

April 15: CCHS BBQ Chicken Fundraiser, 11am-1pm, Elks Lodge, 1175 Pine Tree Road.
