Music and MUMFEST definitely go together and this year’s MUMFEST is so big it’s crossing the river! YPG River Jam features three of your favorite bands starting at 5pm on Saturday, October 8 – Hot Buttered Grits, followed by One Lane Bridge, then Chairman of the Board will take the stage to rock the night away under the starts at the BridgePointe Hotel Marina. For ticket information go to mumfest.com.

The High-Flying Incredible Purina Dog Team performs amazing free-style disc routines set to music. You simply won’t believe how high these canines can fly! Alex Clark is a world traveled circus-trained comedian who juggles flames, climbs up the 10’ ladder of “doom” and is simply amazing in Project Dynamite.

The Corvette Racing Tour, brought to you by Joe Alcoke Auto and Truck Center, is back and bigger than ever with a “Jake” Corvette Grand Sport, the No. 3 GT2 Compuware Corvette show car, an E-Rod engine, a Corvette ZR1 cutaway chassis, the Corvette Winner’s Circle Photo Trailer, and a number of Championship Trophies all celebrating Corvette’s storied racing history and Chevrolet’s 100th anniversary.

The King BMX Stunt Show presents some of the most daring and talented ramp and flatland riders in BMX today. You’ll see them fly through the air doing flips and stunts that seem impossible. The whole family will have a great time kazooing along with Rick Hubbard and the Kazoobie Kazoo Show. Everyone in the audience becomes a kazoo-playing member of the band. The Silver Drummer Girl will be back – she’s a statue that comes to life but only when someone learns the magic secret. A great way to start Sunday morning and get the family motivated is with the 5K Run or 1 Mile Fun Walk at 7:30 a.m. at Union Point Park. Call 252-639-2907 for more information.
