>What do Marinas, Pancakes and Sausage Have to Do with Each Other?

>

New Bern, NC – You are invited to find out on Saturday, July 16th!

The Neuse RIVERKEEPER® Foundation will be hosting a Pancake Breakfast on the above date from 8:00am until 10:00am here at our office at 1307 Country Club Road. Included in the breakfast will be pancakes, farm-raised sausage, coffee, juice and some lively conversation. So that takes care of the Pancakes and Sausage, where does the Marinas topic fit in?

We are very pleased to announce that Mr. Bud Ellis, Northwest Creek Marina Dockmaster, will be at the Pancake Breakfast to talk about what it means to be a “North Carolina Clean Marina”, of which Northwest Creek Marina is certified member. Bud will discuss the Clean Marinas standards, what it is like to implement them and the positive environmental impacts provided by being certified as a Clean Marina. Bud will give his talk at 9:30 for about 20 minutes with the opportunity for some questions following.

We hope you will plan to spend a portion of your Saturday morning, July 16th, with us here at the NRF. There is no charge for the Pancake Breakfast, but a donation to help support the efforts of the NRF will be greatly appreciated.

Please RSVP by Thursday, July 14th, if you are planning to attend, indicating how many people will be in your party.

We are looking forward to seeing you on Saturday, July 16th between 8:00am and 10:00am.
