The Twin Rivers YMCA & Taberna Country Club are proud to present the Turkey Trot 5K Run/Walk/Dog Jog & Kid’s Dash! The race will begin and end in front of the Taberna Country Club, and runners/walkers are sure to enjoy the unsurpassed beauty and solitude of the tree-lined, completely residential course. Families are encouraged to participate together and pets are welcome. Register competitive to work for your best time or non-competitive, just for fun. A Dog’s Dream is proud to sponsor the Twin River’s YMCA’s Turkey Trot 5K Run/Walk/Dog Jog! All leashed pets are welcome to join and enjoy doggie water stops and awards that will be given to the top 3 “Top Dog” finishers.
Registration is only offered on-line until Monday, Nov. 19. In addition, you can register in person on race day or at early registration/packet pickup. Registration/packet pickup will be held at the YMCA (100 YMCA Lane in New Bern, NC) on Tuesday, Nov. 20th from 5 pm – 7 pm. All proceeds go toward the Twin Rivers YMCA’s Annual Scholarship Support Campaign.
