You can make a difference by supporting Craven County Partners in Education

craven_county_partners_in_educationCraven County Partners In Education is currently accepting donations for its Annual Fund Drive. The funding received from this fund drive supports the teachers and students in the classroom through the PIE Grant program. The PIE Grant is available to teachers twice a year and assists teachers in the classroom who demonstrate innovation and creativity and boosts the learning opportunities for students in all grades and subjects. Teachers may request up to $1500 in funding per grant cycle. During the 2012-13 school year, Partners In Education awarded 20 applicants a total of $24,000.00.

Partners In Education is a local non-profit organization committed to enhancing the educational experience of teachers and students through classroom grants, focusing on evolving and specific needs of individual classrooms, and partnering with businesses, community leaders, and educators for financial support that in turn supports the public schools of Craven County. This school/business collaboration was formed in 1989 and its board is comprised of business professionals, community leaders, educators, and individuals who believe in a strong educational system. Partners in Education is extremely passionate about making a difference.

If you or your business is interested in supporting Partners In Education through the fund drive or creating and contributing to a grant program, please contact Darlene Brown at 252-514-6321 or via email. Partners In Education is a 501(c)3 that works independently of, but is aligned with, the Craven County School System and its goals.
