Program on Sunday, April 14 to include Debussy, Poulenc and Franck
The East Carolina Faculty Concert Series continues at Tryon Palace with a cello and piano recital, held Sunday, April 14. Performed by Emanuel Gruber on cello and Keiko Sekino on piano, this moving concert will include pieces by Claude Debussy, and lesser-known but equally engaging artists such as the 19th-century Belgian-French composer Cesar Franck and Francis Jean Marcel Poulenc, a member of the 20th-century French group Les Six.
Held at 3 p.m. inside the North Carolina History Center’s Cullman Performance Hall, the cost to attend the ECU Faculty Concert is $20 for adults, $17 for Tryon Palace Foundation members and $10 for students. Gruber will also have CDs for sale in the Tryon Palace Museum Store.
