Andrea Owens shared “Ratio Theatre Company and Home Instead Senior Care present Dancing With The New Bern Stars, at the Sudan Shrine Ballroom on May 11 from 7:00-10:00 pm. Modeled after the popular television program and the first of its kind in New Bern, the event features local celebrities Mayor Lee Bettis, Linda Staunch, Rip Taggart, Gay Price and Nelson McDaniel paired with professional dance instructors from Rivertowne Ballroom. Tickets are $55/person and includes the dance competition, dinner by The Flame Restaurant, and dancing to music provided by the Starlight Dance Orchestra”.
“Each of the dance teams will perform one ballroom dance of their choice and will be judged by National and International Ballroom Competition Adjudicators and a local celebrity combined with the votes cast on line and by the audience”.
“Proceeds benefit Ratio Theatre Company and their mission to provide professional theater performances and education to eastern NC”.
