Enjoyed a fun-filled stay at the New Bern KOA this weekend!

If you’re looking for a relaxing getaway or weekend retreat for the family, escape to the KOA in New Bern, NC!

While staying at the New Bern KOA this weekend I learned about the KOA’s Pet Photo Contest: Enter the KOA Pet Photo Contest and win an iPad Mini and a $100 Gift Card from Pet Smart by visiting their Facebook page!

You won’t be disappointed, as they cater to all! From luxury and regular Kampin’ Kabins, RV campers to primitive tent sites, you’re bound to enjoy your stay.

After discovering the KOA in 2005, I’ve spent many days there. Receive a warm welcome from Pat and Larry Holzclaw and their friendly team!

The above video captures some of the highlights that the New Bern KOA offers. Their luxury cabins are outfitted with a kitchenette, large bed, pull out sofa, bunk beds, full bathroom with shower, cable television, AC/Heat, fire pit, gas grill, and swing and picnic table with the comforts of home.

Situated on the Neuse River, it’s a perfect place to fish, soak in the sun, or rent one of their kayaks; paddleboats; and dingy row boats for a day on the water!

They offer events throughout the week to include “hey rides”, movie night, horse racing, and much more. The also have a game room with a foosball table, board games, DVDs, and a computer station.

You don’t have to go “off the grid” as they have free and secure WiFi!

With warmer weather, you can cool off in their crystal clear pool.

They also have a catch and release fishing pond where you don’t need a fishing license.

Whatever your pleasure, I’ll bet that you will find it at our local KOA!
