JaqJill boutique opened in historic downtown New Bern on May 8th of this year specializing in contemporary women’s apparel and accessories with a modern-classic vibe. JaqJill is holding grand opening festivities this Saturday, August 2nd from 10am-9pm.
Community members and out-of-town guests are invited to enjoy a light breakfast catered by Baker’s Kitchen at 10am. The first 20 guests through the door will receive a “swag bag” full of freebies. Throughout the day, the boutique will provide specials, a free gift with any purchase, a girly go garter giveaway highlighting a feature product, and a “spend $100, enter to win $100” raffle. At 3pm, JaqJill will highlight local photographer and short-film maker, Brandon Moreno. Moreno will be signing and selling his prints during this time. At 5pm, JaqJill will serve hors d’oeuvres catered by MJ’s and will provide live entertainment by local Parker Millar at 6pm. Everyone is invited to come out and celebrate the past, present, and what is yet to come from this lovely new women’s boutique.
