During this show, New Bern Now’s Pod Squad – Laura Johnson, Lisa Bisbee Lentz, Rich Sheridan, and I were joined by special guests, Mike Lentz and Carol Jones. We highlighted numerous businesses and non-profits in New Bern all the way to the Crystal Coast.

Segments included the Talk of the Town; People Making a Difference; The Pod Squad and Day Trippin’ in Eastern North Carolina; Upcoming Events thru April 20th; and The Wrap Up.

This show’s guests were Darlene Brown, Executive Director of Craven County Partners in Education; Todd Anke, owner of Reliable Prosthetics and Orthotics; New Bern High School Senior Caitlin Gross talking about the End The Trend to stop texting while driving campaign; Kathy Sirpilla, Executive Director of Croatan Village Assisted Living; Jean Kenefick, Community Director of Easter Seals UCP of New Bern; Craig Ramey, Marketing and Communications Manager at Tryon Palace; Mary Ann LeRay of Mary Kay Cosmetics and Contributing Author for New Bern Now, and Cheryl McCarthy, Executive Director of Seeds Ministry.

These 20 – 30 minute shows are scheduled for every other week and we will post mini-episodes (community segments) that will also air on New Bern’s News Talk Radio Station WNOS 97.1FM and 1450AM.

We changed our podcast schedule to every other Monday (vs. Friday) so the next episode will publish on Monday, April 20th.
