The Nicholas Sparks Foundation is a 501 (c)(3) public charity that strives to increase access to innovative global learning opportunities for students across the country. We envision a world where all students and teachers experience enriched global learning that equips them to engage the multi-dimensional cultural, entrepreneurial, ecological, and leadership challenges of our 21st century world.

One of the Foundation’s signature programs, the Rural Scholarship Alliance, is focused on serving rural communities with poverty and a lack of resources to provide learning experiences that broaden the personal vision of each student’s future to improve global challenges and change the world.

Nicholas Sparks is the world’s most beloved storyteller and has written 17 New York Times bestsellers that have sold more than 97 million copies in 50 languages worldwide. The Longest Ride is the tenth novel adapted for the big screen and was premiered in Los Angeles on April 6, 2015.
