“All work and no play makes…”

Sometimes we get so caught up in working that we don’t take time out to relax. I’m pretty sure that some of you have the same problem.

Today, Laura Johnson and I stopped by our “Corporate Office” at the Isaac Taylor House and Gardens to visit our friend, Lisa Bisbee-Lentz and were pleasantly surprised to see Artist Lee Hood. Some people think that we work at the Isaac Taylor House, but honestly, I’m fortunate enough to do most of the work from home.

Laura gave Lisa a Bear Grylls “Sparkie” fire starter, so Lisa had to try it out!

The above video doesn’t have anything to do with New Bern Now, we just wanted to share our experience with you and hope you enjoy it as much as we did. It’s the simple things in life that can make you smile.

Special thanks to Laura Johnson and Lisa Bisbee-Lentz for volunteering your time and efforts partnering with New Bern Now!
