Craven Smart Start will host their Holiday Hustle race fundraiser on December 12th. This makes the third year for this popular race event that takes place in downtown New Bern during the Christmas season.
The Holiday Hustle will feature a 10K run, a 5K run/walk and a Family Fun Run. Racing starts at Union Point Park at 8:00 AM. Races will be timed with disposable chips and awards will be given for 1st, 2nd, 3rd place by age and gender. The event will also include a costume contest for “Best Holiday Spirit” worn by a child as well as an adult. Stubbs Perdue will again be the Presenting Sponsor for the Holiday Hustle.
Craven Smart Start is currently seeking sponsors, runners/walkers and volunteers for the fundraiser. Businesses, groups or individuals who are interested should contact Pinkie Moore at 252-671-0689.
