Why: CCC will receive $5.37 million
The college plans on building a STEM building on its Havelock campus that would make classes and laboratories available to teach science, technology, engineering, and math to CCC students, Early College EAST high school students, and N.C. State engineering students. Additionally, funds will be used to improve student services on the New Bern campus.
