Promise Place will host its 3rd Annual Barn Bash Fundraiser on the evening of Saturday, September 10, 2016 at the Batten Farm in New Bern. Tickets are $50 per person and all proceeds benefit Promise Place.

The event is a casual night of dinner, to include BBQ & all the fixin’s, entertainment, live and silent auctions and raffles. One of the many outstanding auction items secured for this year is a weeklong stay in a condo at Lake Tahoe! Promise Place is the sexual assault resource center serving Craven, Jones, and Pamlico Counties. Our services are offered to children, teens, and adults impacted by the trauma of sexual abuse and assault. Through our advocacy services, clients are given the support and resources needed to navigate the complex road to healing. Trauma focused therapy is key to a client’s recovery from the effects of sexual abuse and assault. Through our community outreach program we are able to provide training and attend speaking engagements to raise awareness of sexual assault; the impact on victims and the community as a whole.
