The Rotary Club of New Bern’s Sham-Rockin’ Celebrates St. Paddy’s Day!

Gather your family and friends, get your green on, and join us for The Rotary Club of New Bern’s 2017 Sham-Rockin’ St. Patrick’s Celebration, Friday, March 17th!  This year the event will be held at the beautiful North Carolina History Center, overlooking the Trent River.

Doors open at 6:00 pm and the Sham-Rockin’ will continue until 10:00 pm.  The Chelsea Restaurant will serve up the best corned beef and cabbage found in Eastern North Carolina.  R.A. Jeffries, as our beverage sponsor will offer your favorite beer and wine.

During dinner, listen to Irish music.  After dinner, dance the night away to the popular band, Trainwreck!

Tickets include dinner and admission and are $15 in advance and $20 at the door. There will be a cash bar of beer, wine, sodas, and water.  Tickets can be purchased at Mitchell’s Hardware, Halftime Pub, and online at NewBernRotaryClub.org with a link to the EventBrite page.

This event is a fundraiser for The Rotary Club of New Bern’s grant program.  Past proceeds have assisted with funding iPads for the New Bern Boys’ and Girls’ Club, a security system for Habitat for Humanity, ReStore, and supported CarolinaEast’s Foundation’s Breakfast with Santa.
