Saint Paul Catholic School celebrated the graduation of its eighth grade class on Wednesday, May 30 with a Mass at Saint Paul Catholic Church. Fr. Tully gave the commencement homily focused on six inspirational words. He delivered a special message to each of the students encouraging them to use their word as a springboard for continued and future success.
The 2018 Saint Paul graduates are Coty Johnson (White Oak High School, Jacksonville, NC), Jaedyn Moore (Craven Early College), Ya Koo (Craven Early College), Piper Little, Skye Davis, and Lauren Pudwill (New Bern High School).
As part of the graduation ceremony the Joseph Rachid Distinguished Alumni Award was presented to Sharon Hughes Killian who graduated from Saint Paul in 1959. This award was initiated in 2006 to introduce, on an annual basis, outstanding alumni as role models for the school community and to acknowledge their achievements in service and faith.
Success begins @ Saint Paul through faith, academics, & integrity. Saint Paul Catholic School offers a rigorous classical curriculum where the children are taught to listen carefully, explore fully, and think critically. We welcome students of all faiths.
