The New Bern Civitan Club’s annual HUBS Peanut sale is now open until they are sold out. The Club will be selling salted, unsalted and chocolate peanuts. You may buy peanuts at the Farmers Market on Saturdays from now through Christmas. You may also contact the NBCC Peanut Chairman, Joe Judd, at 636-8362 to place an order.
The NB Civitan Club’s Christmas Tree and Wreath sales begin on Friday, November 23rd at its location on US 17 at 3931 Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd., directly across the road from Snap Fitness. The freshly cut North Carolina Fraser Firs range in height from 6 feet to 9 feet. A LIMITED number of taller trees will be available, but you must come early as they will sell out fast. Wreaths fashioned by local artisans and roped garland will also be for sale. Sale hours are 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Sundays through Fridays and 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Saturdays. Special hours only on Friday, Nov. 23 (Black Friday) will be 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.
Every year, the trees sell out so come early for the best selections. The peanuts will be sold every day at the tree lot as well as at the Farmers Market on Saturdays. ALL proceeds from this fundraiser help to fund local NB Civitan Charities – all located in New Bern or Craven County. We thank the community for its continued support.
