Are you one of numerous businesses and non-profit organizations without a web presence?
Do you think customers will find you because you’re listed in the phone book?
If you answered yes to either of the above questions, we want to help you drive customers your way!
After asking many local business owners why they don’t have a website, here are the top 5 reasons:
- They can’t afford one
- They don’t know how to create one
- They don’t have time
- They use Facebook as their web presence
- They don’t think they need one
If these are the reasons why you think you don’t need a website, odds are, potential clients are frequenting your competitor vs. visiting you.
I don’t recall the last time I looked at a phone book to look up a business’s address or phone number. I search the Internet for their website. A lot of times, I find a business listing on a search engine, but the phone number or address may not be correct. I’m assuming most people would give up and look for another business. What do you think?
New Bern Now will be sponsoring an introduction to Internet marketing workshop in early March. Information will include the basics about creating websites, tips and tricks to search engine optimization along with miscellaneous things to consider when building a website.
Please contact me at 252-638-6858 or via email if you’re interested in participating and I will send you more information. The workshop location will be determined by the number of people attending.
