Congratulations to Holly Willis – Winner of “I Love That Lady” Award!

Stephanie Seymore, Holly Willis, and Kim Briele

What a terrific night at Carolina Colours Pavilion as 155 women attended the 3rd Annual “I Love That Lady” Award dinner and silent auction!

LISTEN to my personal experience of this fun-filled night.

Kim Briele, President of LCA Advertising and Productions, created this special event with a vision of recognizing women who make a difference in our community. She hopes to spread awareness of the altruistic concept and empower other women to become more civic minded.

“I Love That Lady” Committee

Kim and the “I Love That Lady” committee: Katy Chenoweth, Thea Kincaid, Pinkie Moore, Gay Price, Stephanie Seymore, Amy Solter, and Laura Towarnicky, did a wonderful job planning and executing a fun-filled evening!

Kim Briele with the audience

This was my first year attending the “I Love That Lady” event and I walked away empowered by the accomplishments of tonight’s award winners!

Pat Drake and Frances Barron were finalists out of numerous nominations.

Holly Willis was selected as the 2012 “I Love That Lady” award winner for her many unselfish accomplishments in our community. She received $1000 to give to her favorite charity(s).

Thanks, Kim and your energetic committee for your hard work in making this a successful event!

About New Bern Now
Editor-in-Chief, Wendy Card, founded New Bern Now in April 2009. There were a number of reasons she developed the website. While stationed in Washington DC, she had 30 days to transfer to Naval Hospital Cherry Point and didn’t know much about the area. She was frustrated because there wasn’t a central location on the Internet for information about New Bern. Wendy retired from the Navy in Oct 2007. When our economy dived, she was trying to find her way in life and decided to give back to the community by creating a website that provided a “One Stop, Information Shop” to help people find out what’s happening in our community along with creating a free business listing to help business owners who couldn’t afford to advertise.
