>Your Local Chapter, Coastal Carolina Chapter of the American Red Cross Needs Your Help!

>
Presently, we have a disaster team deployed to Georgia, helping those affected by the latest flooding.

We provide Services to the Armed Forces (communication between the Military and their Family Members); Health and Safety Training to Volunteer Fire Departments and residents; Disaster Training and Sheltering to our community of Carteret, Craven, Pamlico, and Jones Counties.

With your monetary donations, even a few dollars from residents could make a large impact on our disaster services. Think about New Bern’s population alone, of over 28,000 people. If each person gave $1 to the Red Cross, this would ensure our continued support of all our services. We do not receive funding from the “National Red Cross” unless our area is affected by a major disaster. We rely on grants, donations, and volunteers to maintain operations.

We not only respond to hurricane victims, we respond to families affected by single fires. Your donation could assist victims of disaster, pay for first aid, CPR and AED training of your local fire department personnel and pay for Services to the Armed Forces.

Please contact our local Chapter at 252-637-3405, visit their Website or Blog to see what’s happening at our Chapter. Thank You!
