The New Bern Commemorative Charger is being developed to provide a high-quality memento of New Bern’s 300th anniversary. Such a memento is intended to become a family treasure for local and extended families proud of New Bern’s heritage.

Design; the plate: incorporates the 300 year dates (1710 -2010), city crest/coat of arms/ city skyline in incised and raised design, rope edging representing New Bern’s boat building and port city history and the Greek key edge on the interior outer edge of the plate representing the city’s Federal and Georgian architecture.
Packaging: Plate will be wrapped in tissue paper and placed in a white gift box.
Accompanying documentation/certification; black script on reverse side the of plate defining the significance of the design as it relates to New Bern’s history in addition to an insert that provides an overview of the City’s history in more detail.
