>Organizers of the I Love That Lady charitable giving program invite ladies from the area to attend the 2nd Annual I Love That Lady Award Dinner on February 24, 2011, beginning at 6pm at The Pavilion at Carolina Colours in New Bern.
The highlight of the evening will be the announcement of the 2011 I Love That Lady Award Winner and the presentation of a check which will be designated to the charity of her choice. According to Kim Briele, who is heading up the I Love that Lady organization, the award winner will be chosen from Craven County women who were nominated “because they create better opportunities for others, the give unselfishly of themselves and/or change the ordinary to extraordinary without seeking recognition.” The announcement will be made via a locally produced video which will “tell the story” of her volunteer efforts and good works in the community.
The event will also include a sit-down dinner and musical entertainment by Matt Williams, a well-known recording artist from Ashville, North Carolina. Tickets are $35.00 per person.
