On August 11, 2011, Dona Baker will be speaking at a FREE Dog Safety Program entitled, “Kids and Dogs: Playing It Safe”.

It will be held at the NC Cooperative Extension Craven County Center, 300 Industrial Drive in New Bern.

Directions: from New Bern, take 70W to the Clark’s Rd. Exit, take right onto Clarks Rd. towards the Industrial Park. Take a right onto Industrial Dr. and the County Center is on the left. The program starts at 6:30pm and is FREE to the public.

Pre-registration is requested as seating is limited.

This program is for everyone who comes in contact with dogs. Everyone should know how to meet and greet a dog safely and know the basic signs of when a dog is becoming distressed and agitated.
