Craven County Recreation & Parks Department is sponsoring a Co-ed Softball League this spring. The deadline to enter a team is Tuesday, April 1st at 5:00pm. Team fee is $350, which is due at the time of registration. League play begins Friday, April 12th. All games will be played on Monday & Friday nights. League play will be Sunday afternoons and will run through May. Last day to register a team is Friday April 5th and the cost per team is $300. Craven County Recreation & Parks Department in conjunction with the North Carolina Wildlife Resources Commission Staff is sponsoring a Birding & Nature Walk on May 9th from 9:00 am – 1:00 pm at the Latham Whitehurst Nature Park. This walk will discuss birds & other wildlife living at the Nature Park. Cost for the walk is $10 per person and preregistration is suggested.
