Easter Egg Hunt Tryon Palace

Saturday, April 4, 2015 – 2:00pm to 4:00pm

The hunt is on! The Easter bunny’s trail of eggs leads to Tryon Palace, where hundreds of eggs will be scattered throughout the expansive South Lawn. Children ages 12 and younger are welcome to join the hunt and search for the special eggs, play games, win prizes, and enjoy story time with Brenda Hooks Harris, author of “Poultry at Lavender Cottage.”

A native New Bernian, Harris’ “Poultry at Lavender Cottage” is a children’s book that follows a young Bantam hen named Poultry as she grows up in an English country garden.

Children must be accompanied by an adult at all times. Make sure you bring your Easter basket!
