United Way of Coastal Carolina

United Way of Coastal Carolina and High Country Travel & Tours have teamed up for a once in a lifetime trip to Cuba!

On May 1st, 2016, Fathom was the first cruise ship company to sail from the United States to Cuba. There’s still time for you to join High Country Travel & Tours and be part of history and among the first United States travelers to sail to Cuba in over 50 years. United Way receives up to a $300 donation for all bookings confirmed by June 30th.

Pricing for a seven-day cruise to Cuba starts at $1,800 per person. The base price of your trip includes on-board programs, on-ground activities and transportation, daily breakfast, lunch, and dinner, and a comfortable stateroom for a good night’s sleep. The price is based on two people sharing a stateroom, and prices do vary by season.

The United Way of Coastal Carolina had its beginnings in the Coastal Carolina area in 1957. What started as just a fundraising organization many years ago, has developed into an organization focused on measurable, long-lasting results focused on the local community’s most compelling needs. Education, Income and Health are the three major areas of focus. Currently there are 19 funded programs serving individuals in Carteret, Craven, Jones and Pamlico Counties. Funds are raised locally to fund local programs. For more information visit UnitedWayCoastalNC.org.
