– Friday, June 8, 2018-NEW last day of school for students. Early Release Day for students. (original workday for staff)

Students attending the Early College High Schools, following the Modified Calendar, missed two days of instructional time. The Board of Education approved the following revision to the 2017-2018 Modified Calendar:

Monday, February 19, 2018- Full day of instruction for students and staff (original optional workday for staff-no school for students)

North Carolina General Statute 115C-84.2 requires Craven County Schools to meet 185 days of instruction or 1,025 of instructional hours during the school year.  Fortunately, Craven County Schools has additional hours built into the school calendar making it possible so each day missed due to the inclement weather does not have to be made up day for day.
