Do you enjoy doing Ceramics? Have you ever wanted to learn? Then join New Bern Parks and Recreation as we explore this art form.
The classes are designed for beginners to advanced participants. Participants will learn the basic fundaments to advance techniques at their own pace.
Classes will be conducted at West New Bern Recreation Center located at 1225 Pinetree Dr., New Bern, NC. Classes are open from beginners to advance participants. Wednesday’s class is geared to participants with disabilities. You can register online at newbern-recdesk.com or at West New Bern Recreation Center, Stanley White Recreation Center or Park and Recreation Administration.
Available Classes:
Tuesday Ceramic Class: 6pm – 9pm – 1st Class begins Tuesday, September 11th – December 11th
Wednesday Ceramic Class: 12pm – 3pm – Begins Wednesday, September 12th – December 12th
Thursday Ceramic Class 6pm – 9pm: – Begins Thursday, September 13th – December 13th
Registration fees are as follows: $25 – senior city residents, $30 city residents, $30 senior non-city resident and $40 non-city residents. In addition to registration, additional charges for slip, bisque, paint and firing fees. Classes are limited to 15 students each class; spaces are filled on a first come first serve basis so come in early to secure your space.
