The members of the Twin Rivers Branch of the American Association of University Women (AAUW) invite the community to our Twelfth Annual Local Authors Luncheon to be held on Saturday, January 19, 2019, at 11:30 AM at the Chelsea Restaurant at 335 Middle Street in New Bern.
Once again, we will be spotlighting ten local writers including Garett Biss, Harriet Carlton, Kat Hoke, Thomas Kies, Zachary Kitchen, Jane Maulucci, Joyce, O”Callahan, David Skaggs, J.R. Thomas, and Meg Wethington. Their writings cover fiction, non-fiction, history, business, personal growth, Sci-fi, children and poetry.
They will be sharing some of their experiences and selling their books.
Tickets are $30, which includes lunch with the authors. All proceeds go toward scholarships for local women and girls with an emphasis on STEM programs.
