Experience the excitement of a busy colonial market during a militia muster with historic craft demonstrations and costumed interpreters. Enjoy the pageantry of the colonial Fife and Drum Corps, watch as the militia practice their drills, and observe live firing demonstrations by the 1st NC Regiment of the Continental Line.

Demonstrations include:

– Hair Weaving & 18th-Century Wig Styling

12:00 p.m. – Marionette Show (Behind Stable Office)

1:00 p.m. – Fencing Demonstrations (Tryon Palace South Lawn)

2:00 p.m. – Marionette Show (Behind Stable Office)

3:00 p.m. – Demonstrations by the Militia & Fife and Drum Corps (Tryon Palace South Lawn)
