What’s more fun than connecting with a partner on your mat? Connecting with your partner on your mat and then enjoying some wine and light nibbles after class! Open to any and all ‘partners’ in your life – family, friends or anyone who’s up for a fun 90 minutes! Everyone’s welcome. Join New Bern Arts & Wellness Center instructor, Carol More, and her lifetime partner of 40+ years, Michael, and bring a partner for a different and fun date night! Practicing yoga together creates a special bond with others. Partner yoga poses work mainly by adding resistance. Your muscles can relax, stretch and feel awesome while working with a partner plus it builds confidence to try poses or find deeper experience in familiar ones. Working together strengthens relationships through movement, trust, communication and mindfulness. In this session, you will be guided through gentle stretching, beginner partner poses, massage techniques and gentle guided meditation. Pre-registration only and class size limited. Optional: Bring your own yoga mat. Register: NewBernCenter.com/programs/yoga/. For more information, call 252-497-8928 or send an email: Info@NewBernCenter.com.
