The Bike Box Project – Pedaling For Parkinson’s Across NC

The Bike Box ProjectMay 30 – June 12, 2019

The Bike Box Project, Pedaling for Parkinson’s is a 501 (c) (3) tax-exempt, nonprofit organization. Since its founding by Bethany Richards in 2015, the organization has raised over fifty thousand dollars to date through a variety of events, including the popular “Bernin’ to the Beach” escorted bike ride held annually in October.

The primary mission of the Bike Box Project is to raise money and awareness to assist people locally with Parkinson’s Disease (PD) and for PD research toward finding a cure.

The Bike Box Project Team of four will be pedaling from Murphy NC to Atlantic Beach NC from May 30 through June 12. The Bike Box Project has accepted donations from sponsors and will ride each day honoring two individuals affected by Parkinson’s disease.

This special ride across North Carolina has been made possible from corporate and public donations and support.
