Sneak Peek at Downtown Map for New Bern Now’s Magazine

New Bern Now Magazine Map

Dear Readers,

We really appreciate your advice and feedback as you’re the reason we do what we do to promote the greater New Bern area.

As we celebrate our 10th year anniversary, we’re stepping into uncharted territory as we created a map of Downtown New Bern with the below points of interest for the upcoming magazine.

In the past, we relied on our dear friend, Rich Sheridan of the Crystal Coast Discovery Map. His map is still growing strong, but due to copyright restrictions, we are limited when it comes to publishing it as “an advertisement”.

We want to provide a map for that highlights our Downtown Advertisers, Historic Landmarks, and Points of Interest for everyone to explore!

Please know this is the first time I’ve ever used Adobe Illustrator. I’m not an artist or graphic designer. I’m sure there are things that I missed and that’s why I’m reaching out to you. I would love to hire a professional, but since the money generated by advertisers goes back into the costs of printing it, that’s not an option.

I’m reaching out to you to ask for your advice before the Magazine goes to print. I welcome any constructive criticism as my goal has always been to promote our great town and connect locals and visitors to the community we love.

Here’s the Legend for areas marked on the map.
