On Thursday, August 8th, CresCom Bank hosted a cookout at its Front Street branch in New Bern to unveil the New Bern Strong Bear statue.
The bear was designed to show the resiliency of New Bern in its recovery from Hurricane Florence. It features the colors of a rainbow along with the cityscape and the back of the bear pays tribute to all of the first responders who came to the aid of residents, including representation of the Cajun Navy.
