Craven Community Chorus Presents: “Appalachian Christmas” under the direction of Philip Evancho.
The chorus will perform the Christmas Cantata “Appalachian Winter” by Joseph M. Martin.
The second half the chorus will continue to get you in the Christmas spirit with Christmas songs “Christmas on Broadway”, “Jingle Bell Rock”, “Go Tell it on the Mountain” and more. The accompaniment will be provided by Cheryl Arthur Kite, pianist and Rachel Pino with the Trent River Orchestra.
Performances will be on Thursday December 5 at 7 p.m., Saturday December 7 at 3 p.m., Sunday December 8 at 3 p.m. in Orringer Hall on the campus of Craven Community College located at 800 College Court, New Bern NC.
Tickets are $ 5, available for advance purchase from Chorus members, Bank of the Arts, Kitchen on Trent, Fullers Music, UPS Store and Harris Teeter (New Bern and Carolina Colours). Tickets at door (if available).
