Rotary Funds CCC Scholarship
“If you have a passion and really want to learn a trade, call Rick” That’s how Rick Meadows. Craven Community College Dean of Career Programs put it during a recent meeting of the New Bern Rotary Club. CCC’s Career Programs, many held at the new Volt Center, are in IT, accounting, transportation, manufacturing technology and public service. At CCC, students can find a new career path or new employment opportunity. The greatest demand right now is for trained truck drivers. Rotary Club Present Clayton Cheek recently presented President Staats with a check for $1000 towards a student scholarship.
